CollectionsSlices: len, cap, append & Shared Backing
All courses

Slices are views on arrays

A slice has pointer, length, and capacity. append may reallocate — old references might still share backing arrays if subsliced carelessly.

Quirk: s[low:high] shares memory with s. Mutating one can mutate the other. Copy with copy(dst, src) when you need independence.
